Debonair Society was designed to create the caliber of events I would want to attend. I wanted these events to give us a reason to dress up and look our best outside of the work and church environments suitable for the kings and queens that we are.
Debonair Society was designed to create the caliber of events I would want to attend. I wanted these events to give us a reason to dress up and look our best outside of the work and church environments suitable for the kings and queens that we are. My goal is to promote positive black cultural entertainment that will inspire positive growth of our community. Imagine events like happy hours, brunches, poetry nights, pool parties, and galas where one is confident they may meet a spouse, a business partner, or even a friend because the room is filled with likeminded individuals. I envision these events being in beautiful venues decorated to the level of the work that you put in to being an attractive attendee.
At some point, we’ve all heard complaints about supporting black-owned businesses and events such as not wanting to stand in line, no prospective men/women indulging in the nightlife, event price points, and the list goes on…
Debonair Weekends are my vision for a consistent weekend of events in Dallas to have the opportunities to celebrate black cultural excellence in fun environments and avoid these complaints. Mingling over Martinis is my vision of an upscale happy hour. The $20 ticket price point includes bottomless Martinis served by Hey Ms Bartender to enjoy while you vibe out to great music from Black Spadez Media and mingle with fly, like-minded millennials. Mingling over Mimosas is our Sunday Brunch at the African American Museum of Dallas. This $25 ticket includes a delicious catered brunch, bottomless mimosas, and music from Black Spadez Media.
The ultimate goal of Debonair Society is to enjoy ourselves while simultaneously supporting local black-owned businesses. Let see how much fun we can have while also keeping the black dollar in the black community by employing local chefs, entertainers, photographers, and any other entrepreneurial lane that could elevate the Debonair Society event experience!
